Cute, but VERY thin

My daughter saw some personalized blankets on a TLC show. Had a hard time finding someone in Canada to make them. Squishy Cheeks is in Florida, but they shipped to Canada. Used a discount code. The blankets are soft, bright colours, printing is great, serged reinforced edges. I looked at many pictures on both Facebook and Etsy and the posted review pictures as well as the advertisement pictures look like the blankets are a microfleece throw, even minky, but what we received are quite a bit thinner than I expected....like a flannel sheet or a receiving blanket. Not quite what I expected for +$100 for 2, but the kids like having a personalized blanket.
